Who we are
SOURPUSS LEMONADE is Vancouver, Washington's cheeky little lemonade vendor, serving refreshing lemon slush drinks with a twist. All drinks come with a sour candy rim and optional pipettes of sour liquid to customize your tartness.
Our drinks are made with fresh fruit juice and real sugar, but what sets us apart is the slush. The ice is made from the lemonade itself--we don't add ice afterward or add air to fluff it up. When your ice cold lemonade inevitably starts to melt on a sweltering day, it doesn't get watered down--it melts into more lemonade, keeping your drink delicious!
Our story
Hi! I’m Meghan, owner/operator of SOURPUSS LEMONADE. SPL was inspired by a lemonade vendor in my small town on the east coast that's been serving frozen lemonade drinks for more than 50 years. I wish for this lemonade every summer, so I had settled for daydreaming about opening up my own shop for a couple years.
However, after some big life changes, including a layoff, I decided to see it as a sign to start this venture I kept dreaming about! I came up with a solid recipe and created fun, classic flavors to add to the menu. Now, I'm bringing it to you in the Spring of 2025.
Purpose
My aim is to make SPL an integral part of our Vancouver’s charm. After the pandemic, I started to feel like you could plop my house anywhere in the world and it wouldn’t make a difference—I was so disconnected from the physical place I lived, that it really started to take a toll on my mental health.
SPL was created to not only give me freedom from the uncertainty of the job market, but also to provide a way for me to engage with my community directly, and to give back in a meaningful way. I need to live by my values of integrity, equitability, compassion, and community, not just my strengths. Together, I hope we can make SOURPUSS LEMONADE a successful venture for all of Clark County.
